The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University popularly known as B. R. Ambedkar Bihar University was separated from Patna University on 2nd January 1952. The Bihar University Act 1960 bifurcated University of Bihar into three separate entities, i.e. (1) Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, (2) Ranchi University, Ranchi, (3)Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. Later The Bihar University Act 1961 paved the way for Bihar University and Magadh University. Again in 1973 the Bihar University separated into Bihar University in Muzaffarpur and Mithila University in Darbhanga. Once more in the year 1990 the Bihar University Muzaffarpur was separated into Bihar University, Muzaffarpur and J.P.University, Chapra.

Bihar B.Ed Admission 2019 Application Form Details


The applicants should fill the application forms either in online and offline mode. The online application form will be issued from the website. Before filling the application form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. Candidates should fill all the mandatory details in the application form correctly and carefully. Send the duly filled application completed in all respects within the dates as given for the closing of applications either by hand at the respective university/ college offices or speed post at the address given for correspondence in the prospectus.


Eligibility Criteria


Applicant should be minimum Graduate with 50% marksfrom a valid state University.


Exam Pattern


The exam will consist of objective type questions.


There will be 15 questions in all sets.


The questions will be asked from English/ Teaching Potential/ Numerical Ability/ Mental Ability/ General Knowledge subjects.


There will be no negative marking in the exam.


Admit Card


It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to examination center.


Candidate will not be allowed to give exam, without the admit card.


Selection Process


Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test.


Selected candidates who qualify the exam will be further invited for the counselling process according to scores of Entrance Exam.
